ABOUT
Photographer Markus Ursepuny also known as 'MashFresh', born in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, began capturing images of up-and-coming urban music stars. In 2009, Mash began his professional career by shooting the photographs for the hip-hop album "Dirty Money, Clean Hands" by Redlight Boogie a.k.a Sugacane and the cover of the single 'HEATROCK' featuring Sean Price. In the year since 2010 where he did his internship at State Magazine (BNN), Mash's photography has grown alongside the culture he loves, helping to visually define an era of urban music. He captures images of some international artists like Wiz Khalifa, Ryan Leslie, Tyler the Creator, Method Man, DJ Premier, K'Naan and many more.
At the end of 2011, Mash felt he's raring to make a bigger step to the next level. So he decided to go to the big New York City for his next internship at Decon. The company was founded by creative executive Peter Bittenbender and director/photographer Jason Goldwatch. Goldwatch is still one of his big inspirations. Mash started editing videos and continued working on his photographs. He started being interested in videography as much as photography. Next as a photographer/director, he's also a co-founder of the organization G3 and the online street culture magazine Chicks on Kicks. Be on the look out for his upcoming projects.
